My grandpa's sister, Flora, married Harry Linkletter thus connecting
the Dennis clan to the Linkletters.
I did not remember that Linkletter is a centuries old community on the island
and there are several things that carry the name.
Linkletter Farms is well-known throughout PEI.
The Linkletters grow potatoes and have done so since the late 1700s.
I believe this is the field where we had the "potato field picture" taken
40 years ago.
Just a few of the many potato storage bins.

A few of the Linkletter relatives.
From the left - Leigh Linkletter (my dad's first cousin) and his wife, Doris.
Their grandson, Leigh, daughter-in-law, Diane, and son, Gary.
We spent a wonderful day (my birthday) with these lovely people.
It was definitely a day of making special memories.
In the processing/packing plant
Gary has designed and built many of the systems and conveyor belts
for this massive operation.
He definitely knows how it all works!
