aquarium

I do a lot of music listening with my kids at school.
I've tried to find classical music that's interesting to them
and that they can actually enjoy!
The grade 1s always love this particular piece.
This is the composer that wrote "The Carnival of the Animals".
There's a great video that's been made to accompany the music
and the kids are absolutely transfixed when they watch it.
This little guy (no faces allowed) drew this amazing shark
and I just had to take a picture of it.
And this little girl drew a catfish.
This one really made me smile!

we have had a beautiful fall

The corn came off a few weeks ago already.
 It was obviously very dry.
Our little creek is still running.
But I think the horses can sense that a change is in the air.
Today we went out to take some pictures for a new prayer card.
This one didn't make the cut but I still liked it.
This one was closer but still not our first choice.
The golf course, on November 8, is still so green.
The geese are loving this weather too.
They don't look like they are ready to take off for warmer climes
any time soon.
We watched this group come in for a landing.
Notice the landing gear coming down.
 Almost there.
 Touchdown!
