I did so much baking last week that the house was smelling like a bakery. No joke. Let's see, within 6 days (and on two of those days I didn't bake because I was subbing for Howard) I baked: cinnamon buns, a chocolate cake, brownies, cinnamon twists...
...ginger snaps...
...and a chocolate roll (that plastic covered marshmallow item in the top corner). The last three I did on one morning alone. It was a bit overwhelming and I was glad when it was over. I suppose I should mention that I also made Nanaimo bars for our Canadian Thanksgiving a week before I went into the high baking mode.
Enjoying the leaves here, too, but they're going to the ground fast 'cause of the wet weather. 10-30-09 04:09 PM
